MD, PhD Beata Bolewska
Specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases | Chair of the Infection Control Team at Halluxmed Surgery and Orthopaedics
MD, PhD Beata Bolewska is a specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases with more than 30 years of clinical experience. At Halluxmed, she chairs the Infection Control Team and is responsible for infection-prevention standards, hospital infection-control procedures and the microbiological safety of patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures.
She gained clinical experience at the Department and Clinic of Infectious Diseases of the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań and at the Infectious Diseases Department of the Józef Struś Municipal Hospital in Poznań. She combines many years of clinical work with academic research and teaching, giving lectures and classes to medical students.
She obtained her doctoral degree in medical sciences for a thesis on monitoring patients after antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis C. She participated in clinical studies on treatment of chronic viral hepatitis and is a co-author of scientific publications in Polish and international journals.
Member of the Polish Society of Epidemiologists and Infectious Disease Physicians and the Polish AIDS Scientific Society. She regularly participates in conferences and specialist courses in infectious diseases, hepatology and hospital epidemiology.
She has been part of the Halluxmed team since 2019. As Chair of the Infection Control Team, she supervises hospital infection-control procedures and infection-prevention standards, ensuring patients’ microbiological safety throughout surgical treatment.
