| The problem of hallux-valgus deformity appeared in adolescence, around the age of 20. It was so severe that it hindered normal functioning and choosing footwear. At the first visit it became clear that the foot condition was serious and postponing treatment would only deepen the deformity. Such a condition requires complex surgery, which Dr. Jackowiak presented and discussed in detail.
