Patient story: Ms. Violetta
| Mrs. Violetta had struggled with hallux valgus for 10 years, accompanied by a small but painful hammer toe of the second toe. At first the deformity was minor and became apparent mainly when buying new shoes—it was difficult to find a suitable pair. Over the last three years, however, the changes became increasingly visible, and for six months they had been painful. Mrs. Violetta is a nurse and surgical scrub nurse, so she knew what to do. She underwent corrective surgery at Halluxmed.
