My hallux problems began about 20 years ago. Initially there was mild discomfort and barely noticeable change around the big toe. I used various devices and separators day and night, but they helped little. The deformity and pain progressed, my feet hurt more and more, and deformities of the second toes developed. Choosing shoes became increasingly difficult. I delayed deciding on surgery for a long time because I feared severe pain and the incapacity associated with recovery.

At last I decided to visit Dr Jackowiak’s Halluxmed clinic. After the necessary tests, he explained the operation clearly and I quickly decided to end my suffering. On 18.09.2019, Dr Jackowiak and Dr Rusin operated on both feet at the same time for hallux valgus and hammer toes. I received highly professional care from doctors, empathetic nurses and support staff. After 2 days I left hospital with precise instructions, which I followed carefully. At subsequent follow-ups, Dr Rusin gave me further recommendations. I am now delighted with the appearance of my new feet. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
