Patient story: Ms. Bożena
| I came to Halluxmed Hospital in Komorniki after inflammation of the bunion bursa. The foot deformity was so severe that I had serious trouble putting on any shoes, preventing normal life. Before visiting Halluxmed, I consulted my condition—bunions and two hammertoes—at two other orthopedic practices.

Although the diagnoses were similar, my visit to Dr. Paweł Zalita convinced me that I would have surgery only at this professional, modern, wonderfully equipped clinic. Dr. Zalita, a doctor with great empathy, explained in great detail and patiently each stage of treatment. He also dispelled my greatest fears about pain and assured me that if I followed his recommendations I would feel no pain. At discharge I received instructions on how to take the medicines, including painkillers. I followed them consistently and to this day have not felt pain even for a moment. Today, two and a half months after surgery, I would like to thank coordinator Danusia Hauffa, whose warm and sincere conversation led me to decide on simultaneous surgery on both feet. I also thank the entire medical staff, anesthesiologists, and nurses, especially ward sister Małgorzata and Ms. Angelika and Ms. Mariola from the night shift.
I must also tell Dr. Zalita that at the rehabilitation office I heard they had never seen legs after bunion surgery looking like mine. The head of the office said, and I quote, ‘Mrs. Bożena, this is perfection,’ so hats off to Dr. Paweł!
