| I had bunion problems from my teenage years. At 22 I decided on surgery because the pain was worsening and the unattractive appearance also bothered me. Unfortunately, a few months after surgery the deformity and pain returned. I learned about Halluxmed Clinic from another orthopedic doctor who declined to perform another foot operation, but because of bad memories I delayed seeing Dr. Jackowiak for a long time—a huge mistake!

At my first visit Dr. Jackowiak inspired my trust. He spoke about the operation as though nothing were impossible for him and summed up the consultation in one sentence: “It will be beautiful!” On the day of surgery, the highly professional staff left me almost completely calm. I trusted the clinic's experience and knowledge and was sure everything would end well. The operation took less than an hour under anesthesia from the knee down, which was very comfortable. About four hours afterward I walked unaided to the bathroom in special orthopedic shoes, without pain. Once home, I did not need painkillers.
Today I am seven months after surgery. The deformity has not returned, I feel no pain, and I can wear high heels. I again thank everyone at Halluxmed Clinic for their great effort and care, and I tell everyone struggling to decide: there is nothing to wait for!
