Patient story: Ms. Anna
| To everyone considering removal of troublesome bunions, I sincerely recommend doing it sooner rather than later, naturally placing yourself in the hands of true professionals such as the Halluxmed clinic staff. My struggles began in early childhood. When I reached 18 and surgery supposedly became possible, I was offered surgery on one foot first, two weeks waiting for the wounds to heal, and six weeks in plaster.

After a year’s break, the procedure could be repeated on the other foot. I did not decide to do it, bearing in mind stories of terrible pain and the high probability that the bunions could return. Nevertheless, my quality of life began to deteriorate, causing pain even in flat shoes. I also began waking at night because of pain. I decided it was high time to end the suffering, and so I came to the wonderful Halluxmed clinic and its excellent team. I am one year after surgery, wear high heels, and have returned to running. Nothing hurts, and I have wonderful memories of the entire procedure and care.
